We met through Celeste about 7 years ago. I had no idea that we would get to grow so close and consider her (and her daughter Alani) to be a part of our family. I am beyond myself regarding the level of courage she has throughout the past couple of years. It has been an absolute pleasure watching her grow alongside Celeste. As I sit down and write this I can’t help but think how grateful I am to have you as my friend. I think I take that for granted more than I should. Tj has been there for me through it all. He is someone who has seen me at my best times and at my worst. No matter what, he was always a call away, neutral, no judgment; Just a friend. When I look back on my life, the path I’ve taken, the choices I’ve made, fears that have haunted me, and the successes that I have achieved, Tj has been there for me, through it all, standing by my side. Funny story about Grant. When I first met the guy, I didn’t really care for him much. I was at a hard place in my life. My mother had just died, and I was living in sin, living in the things of this world. My dad introduced me to grant when I was about fifteen years old. The picture I had in my mind, and the one I held on too during our conversation was that of a know it all God guy. Turns out that this conversation with this “Know it all God Guy” was a key part of my journey into finding God and walking as a Christian in faith. Grant, the impact you have made on my life is immense; Thank you.

One mentor to rule them all. Trevor is not afraid too say it how it is, which also means we’ve had our arguments and times were things have been tough. But throughout these past 2 years, there has been no one else whose had not just mine but my fellow apprentices best interest in mind. It is tough to find people in life who care so much about you that they are willing too tell you no because they know it’ll be best for you. Trevor has truly been blessed to minister and help young adults grow and find their path, and I am blessed enough to have been one of those people he has coached. Trevor, I appreciate you man, you have helped me grow.
