Both the ceremony and reception are located in downtown urban areas, and the hotels below were chosen in large part due to their proximity and relative reviews. If you'd prefer to stay somewhere more suburban (which can also be more cost effective), here are some nearby cities and areas to check out that are only a short drive or BART ride away: Emeryville Waterfront in Oakland Rockridge in Berkeley Orinda Lafayette Albany
