We met through mutual friends in high school. Then the very next day I pulled in his driveway and picked him up to give him a ride to school. This was the first time we had ever met in person. Then over the next few weeks we continued to see each other and on March 20th 2013 we decided to make it official and start dating. And the rest is history!

On our 6th anniversary, which was also national proposal day, we both got all dressed up and went out to eat at a fancy restaurant in downtown Goldsboro. Then as we were leaving Willi wanted to stop in front of this fountain, oblivious I thought maybe he just wanted to take a picture in front of it because it was so pretty. Then once I turned around I noticed there was a photographer taking pictures of us. He then proceeded to pour out his heart to me, and got down on one knee to ask if I would marry him. We were both crying and of course I said YES!
