Steamship Authority

If you plan to bring a car onto the island, please book your ferry tickets ASAP. (You will need a car to get from the ceremony to the reception so please plan accordingly.) The ferry schedule changes after Labor Day so please make sure you're looking at the correct schedule. The 2022 schedules are out so please plan accordingly! You can take the ferry from Woods Hole and it will bring you into Oak Bluffs or Vineyard Haven. If you are a passenger, you can buy a passenger ticket at the ferry or online.

Flight

Flights to MVY

There are frequently flights from BOS or JFK on JetBlue. You can fly directly to the island (airport code: MVY). You will need someone to pick you up from the airport. There may or may not be Ubers on the island. There is a bus that will take you from the airport down island that runs pretty frequently during the day. You will need to pay with cash for each ride.

Travel Note

SeaStreak - NJ/NYC to Martha's Vineyard

There is a fast ferry (~6 hrs) from NYC to the island. It leaves on Friday afternoons from NYC and then on Sunday around 4PM from Oak Bluffs. This is an easy way to get to the island if you're coming from the city and not bringing a car.

Please call to book. We've added a 2 night room block for all the rooms in this inn. The inn is right on the beach and is run by a lovely woman, Isabelle. This is great for people who want to be within walking distance of the reception site, the ferry, the beach, and town. Please book these rooms before 3/31/2022 or else they will be released to the public!

The Oak Bluffs Inn

Please call this hotel to book. We have a 2 night room block for the entire inn. This hotel is located directly in the heart of downtown Oak Bluffs. It is walking distance to the reception + brunch and very close to the beaches and ferry. Please book these rooms before 5/30/2022 or else they will be released to the public!

This is another great option that is on the water, town, the reception, and the beach. We do not have a room block here but it's a nice place to book!

House Or Rental

Oak Bluffs

Of course, you can always book an AirBnB or VRBO on the island. There are plenty of weekend stays that are available. We highly recommend that folks stay in Oak Bluffs within walking distance of the reception. This way you don't need to worry about parking or traveling to and from the party! Of course, there are gorgeous places to stay up island as well! So feel free to do whatever feels right!

This is another great place to stay that is minutes walk to the beach and downtown Oak Bluffs. We do not have a room block here but they are taking bookings for 2022 now!
