Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Kindly plan to arrive between 1:45 pm and 2:05 pm. The ceremony will begin at 2:15 pm and last for approximately 45 minutes.

Question

Where should I park for the wedding and the reception?

Answer

For the wedding, please utilize the street parking surrounding the church. Please refrain from parking in the church parking lot unless you have mobility restrictions, as parking spaces are very limited. For the reception, there is a parking lot behind the venue where a parking attendant will be present to help direct traffic. Please refer to the linked site for directions to the reception. https://www.topofthetown.com/map-directions

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the ceremony and reception is cocktail attire.

Question

Will there be a "bride's side" and "groom's side" at the ceremony?

Answer

Nope! We are delighted to be joining two families and hope the seating arrangements at the ceremony reflects that - please take a seat in any row that is not reserved. Please fill in the seats closest to the center aisle first!

Question

Will there be a recieving line?

Answer

There will not be a receiving line following the ceremony. Instead, Valerie and Will will be delighted to greet guests during cocktail hour and dinner at the reception venue. Immediately following the ceremony, all guests who are not family are invited to head downstairs to the church fellowship hall for coffee and light refreshments while the family takes photos in the sanctuary. Between 3-4 pm, please enjoy this coffee hour or feel free to stop by your hotel room or a nearby cafe or bar. We recommend that you plan to arrive at the reception venue between 3:55-4:15 pm for most efficient entry, as the venue is at the penthouse level but the building has only one elevator. We hope to send every elevator trip upstairs fully packed (10-12 people) with lovely family and friends! The elevator should begin operating at 4 pm, and the first guests to arrive will be welcome to enjoy the upstairs views before the reception hall is opened at 4:15 pm. If you're coming from the church, we recommend leaving around 3:40 pm, as the drive to the reception will take about 10 minutes, with another 5 minutes to park at the free lot around the corner, where a parking attendant will be present.

Question

What is the address for the reception?

Answer

The reception will be held at Top of the Town. The address is 1400 14th St N, Arlington, VA 22209.
