It all started at the Chase Matthews concert at Stoney’s Roadhouse in Emmett and some flirtatious chatting. We ended up hanging out with the same group of friends at the concert, and later that night we all met up at some of the local bars in town. Had we not ended up hanging out that night, we may not be where we are today — raising Kadie together and getting ready to say “I do.” We’re so thankful for that concert and the connection we made that night. 🫶🏻

Iykyk. 😉 We had known of each other since high school, but really became friends when we worked together at an assisted living facility in Emmett back in 2015–2016. Life took us in different directions after that. Taryn had Kadie and tried a couple of different careers before landing back in healthcare. William bought a house and changed careers as well. But in September of 2021, life brought us back together at a concert at what was once ‘Stoney’s Roadhouse’. We started hanging out and getting to know each other more. Before long, we were spending more and more time together. In early February 2022, Will met Kadie. Then on February 15, 2022, Will asked Taryn to officially be his girlfriend. 💜 By January 2023, Kadie asked William if he would be her “Dad Will.” Soon after, Will moved Kadie and Taryn in with him, and life as a family truly began. ❤️ Fast forward to May 31, 2025 — William got down on one knee at the very place where it all began, The Roadhouse at the Mill (formerly Stoney’s Roadhouse), and asked, “Will you marry me?” Well… if you’re reading this, you already know Taryn’s answer!!!!!
