The one I never knew I needed. You came into my life 10 years ago when the good Lord placed you in my brother's life to serve as his life long partner and now the mother my beautifully kind niece. Amongst endless great things, you are my sister and my best friend. Every day I talk to you on the phone is good day in my world. You know just what to say every time. You have made me want to be better daily, and have shaped me into the woman I am. I believe God sent you to me, and Jospeh just happened to like you too (not kidding)! I have loved every minute of being alongside you in raising Ruthann. She is one lucky girl, to have a mom like you. I have said this once, and I will say it here...If I am needed, but unavailable for any reason, one should go to you. I have chosen for you to stand by me because of who you are. When I spend time with you, I see a direct product of God's handiwork. You are easily the smartest most strategic person I know. You think of anything and everything i'm thinking...and say it right on. If I were to ask you where I should go for lunch, you would respond with a list of restaurants in order from most desirable to least, a pros and cons list, and ready to report to me the analysis you made from the google reviews of each one (we all know i'm dramatic, but this has probably actually happened) and that is why I love you. You know how to make someone feel understood and you take the time to be that person for everyone. Thank you for being you, and never EVER change.

The first one of Sophie’s brothers I met. I think you immediately knew I was different. Once you asked me if I loved her at El Matate, you knew I was all in. Since then, you (and Carly) have been such great supporters and friends of Sophie and me. I am so blessed to have you, and be able to be a supporter of Ruthann as she grows into a great woman. Our time spent dining together, poking the fire, having a whisky, and smoking cheap cigars is something I wouldn’t trade for the world! We will make many great memories together in years to come!

Freshmen Year us would be SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW!! Who knew we would be planning wedding when we decided to be roommates in 2021. Freshmen year is a lot of things, but it's not perfect. It has homesick nights, dining hall dinners, and overdue laundry (every day). Together we did it! By "it" I mean I killed bugs and you taught me to curl my hair. Most importantly it brought me you. My bb loving, Kappa Delta, nursing school Queen. I love to Southern Pines 1140 and back! (and further...just had to say that)

Now as we graduate, I can say you were the best college roommate a girl could ask for. Freshmen year, I asked you what you thought of my outfit (I barely knew you) and you told me to come over and look though your tops. I ran (literally) over to your dorm and tried on dozens of tops. Little did I know we would share a closet for years to come.
