We first met through mutual friends at our hometown YMCA volleyball courts. What started as casual games soon turned into regular hangouts with a larger friend group—and over time, we naturally found ourselves growing closer. The spark truly began to flicker during a double date with some of our closest friends, marking the unofficial start of our relationship. In 2019, William moved to Upstate New York for college, but his time away was short-lived when the COVID-19 pandemic hit and schools shut down. He returned home, and in 2020, we took a big step and moved in together in a small apartment on the edge of town. Since then, our lives have been filled with shared laughter, spontaneous dates, cozy nights in, and the kind of everyday moments that have kept our relationship fun, young, and full of love. After six wonderful years together, William proposed to Selena on Christmas Day in 2024—making the holiday season even more magical and unforgettable. We’re so excited to begin this next chapter and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
