We have been together over 9 years now! We started dating in the spring of 2016, and made it official May 2. Then William went away to school in Chicago while Sarah finished her senior year at Hudson High. Once Sarah got to the University of Iowa the distance felt far. When things started changing with Will's college lacrosse team it worked out to transfer to a different school/team that recruited him and was only an hour from UIowa. We made many fun college memories together being able to attend each other's events now that we were closer. After covid/graduation William decided to pursue another study path at Penn State, which made the distance flights-away now. Those years were hard but brought lots of adventure as he interned in fun places like Scottsdale and Jacksonville. Once he finished the Turfgrass Management program, he was looking for jobs and Sarah was considering going back to school for Nurse Anesthesia, so we found a city that could meet the needs of both! Philadelphia :) It worked out perfectly that Sarah got into a CRNA program that started that fall following William's Penn State graduation, and his new job began that summer. Now Sarah is going to be graduating in summer 2026, so it is the perfect time to finally have/plan a wedding! We thank you all for coming to celebrate us and we are so excited for these years of school and distance to finally be done so soon and we get to move into normal life.
