How did you meet?

We met in grad school at UC Santa Barbara where we both started Physics Ph.D. programs in the same year. We were friends to start out and began dating the second year of our program (and 6 months later moved in together and adopted our two cats, Quark and Aramis).

No Ceremony?

Answer

We were married at Will's family home in Sea Ranch CA on 7/30/2024 which is a place that holds a lot of special meaning for us as a couple. Since it is such a remote location (and many of our loved ones live on the East Coast) we decided to host a second celebration with you all in Maryland so that we could share this special moment in our lives with as many of you as possible <3

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code is semi-formal which means you can go as fancy as you like with floor length gowns and tuxedos, or go more casual with a cocktail dress/jumpsuit and a suit.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence at our celebration is more than we can ask for, but if you would like to bring an additional gift our registries can be easily located by navigating to the "Registry" tab of this site. We have a honeymoon fund set up through Zola as well as registries through Crate & Barrel and Amazon.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the reception?

Answer

There will be a shuttle to and from The Chesapeake Bay Beach Club and The Westin Annapolis where we have our room block (see Travel tab).
