Everyone always asks if I was surprised, and yeah, my sweet guy really did plan a beautiful proposal and kept me in the dark. The rouse to get me to be dressed up a bit and not suspicious was that it would be our makeup date for our anniversary since I had been in Virginia on our 5 year anniversary. Our cute day date in Morro Bay, CA started with a coffee and stroll by the beach (which if anyone knows Will, they know he doesn't like walks). We got a yummy lunch and ended up getting some stuff for a picnic at this spot that he "just found on his phone". Little did I know, he had spent lots of time looking into all this with our amazing friends Rachel and Olivia and they were waiting in the bushes with cameras! We go on this cute walk/hike along the cliff tops and get to a spot to set up for our picnic. He tells me he forgot some of the snacks in the car and that I could just wait there for him and set up our blanket and other stuff. I set up our snacks and just relaxed enjoying the sound of the waves and gorgeous sunset that was happening, while he booked it back to the car. A few minutes later I saw him walking back and was caught off guard a bit because he had changed into a different shirt, and then I saw our friends and the cameras and knew what was going on! He melted my heart and made me the happiest girl ever that day! Those three little sneaksters had a whole photoshoot planned and gave me the most beautiful photos up at the cliffs, down at the beach and Will even found a wooded area so we could have pictures with pretty trees in the background. Will made us reservations for dinner and we all got to celebrate that night kicking off probably the best Thanksgiving week ever.
