I was pleasantly surprised with how nice everyone was, across the board from the airports to the hotels to the cab drivers, everyone was extremely welcoming and accommodating A few travel Notes that I observed as a first timer: All of the hotels we stayed in had international outlets. You still might want to bring an adapter, but it made things very easy. Notably the Radisson has international outlets in every room We flew Air India and it was very nice. Across the board the airports / planes and lounges (especially Delhi where we had a long-ish layover) were very nice. Delhi also has an Amex Lounge. Traffic can be a little crazy, but I think that's part of the experience. It's like trying to navigate a busy train station or airport, except instead of people its cars and mopeds (2-wheelers) Also remember they drive on the left hand side! Stick to bottled water, everywhere we went offered bottles, even if just stepping in a store to go shopping they would offer There’s a lot of great food to try as well, and for those with sensitive tummies, there’s a lot of international options (even fast food like McD’s / KFC / SBUX) to hold you over. But remember, there’s no Beef, so be ready for lots of chicken, lamb, and seafood For those still making travel plans / on the fence, please reach out, we are happy to help or walk through any questions & concerns!
