Contrary to popular belief, Will did not in fact propose to Paloma in the photo booth. He planned his proposal to her to take place on Christmas morning. Paloma was clueless to the whole plan— (I had no suspicions whatsoever!) With her family’s conflicting schedules, they decided to open gifts at 9am. The time came and Paloma was met by her dad, Hector, in her bedroom to tell her that he is going to check the mailbox for a missing gift from him to her mom. (This is important for later) She went downstairs as her dad returned inside with no found gift. As she sat down, she mentioned to him that he didn’t close the front door all the way shut. He said to let it be & brushed it off because it was time to open gifts. Her mom, Amy, had passed their gifts to Michael, her brother, and it was now Paloma’s turn. The first gift she handed to her was a card… “It’s a new car!!” Paloma joked. She opened the envelope with her mom’s penmanship & became confused as the card read “You’re my person” on the outside. Kind of a romantic card coming from her parents… she flipped open the card and became even more confused when she realized it wasn’t her mom’s penmanship inside the card itself. It was Will’s. She slowly began to realize what was happening as she was reading the card and Will walked through the unlocked front door. Just as she finished the card in shock, he proposed with the ring of her dreams. It was the best gift. A true surprise, so intimate, thoughtful, and romantic… I got him an electric toothbrush and a projector for Christmas in case you were wondering. - Paloma
