Travel to and from Switzerland
Answer
Zürich is the main airport within Switzerland and will be easiest to fly into. From there, you may train or uber to Lucerne (45 minute trip). If you decide to train, the station is located in the airport and you will arrive in Lucerne directly across the street from the hotels listed. If you are looking to make this a European trip (which we could not recommend more!!), flying into London (HTW), Paris (HDG) and Lisbon (LIS) are typically the best priced international flights to get you to Europe and then a straight flight to Zurich will do the trick. You can google "flights to Europe" and find the best priced flights to Europe during the time that you are planning. If you decide to train within Switzerland (this extends to outer regions as well), please download the SBB app to book trains, check schedules and departure platform numbers. I have never been to Switzerland, how foreign friendly is it?
Answer
Nearly everyone in Switzerland speaks English, so please do not worry for a language barrier. Do note though, that we use Swiss Francs as currency. Hardly will you need cash as apple pay and credit cards are mainly used. The outlets are different so you will need an outlet adaptor/converter that is specific to the Swiss region. The electricity current is higher in Europe, so do not leave electronics plugged in for extended periods of time, or purchase a "converter" that will mitigate electric current. If traveling around Europe, please prepare which currency and various adaptors you will need as it may vary by region/country.

Yes! If you will be driving to the venue, please let us know as parking can be limited.

Unfortunately space is limited at the Villa so outside guests without a formal invitation cannot be allowed.
