Please RSVP via the website as soon as possible, and no later than 28 February, 2025. While we will send out reminders, unfortunately we will not be able to accomodate late RSVP's, as we will need to provide our vendors and venue with an exact guest count by a certain date.
Though it would mean the world to celebrate with you, we understand if you cannot attend! We'd appreciate if you let us know as soon as possible if you cannot make the wedding or one of the included events. To do so, simply navigate to the RSVP tab and select "no" on the relevant events, so that we may plan accordingly.
Due to limited capacity we will only be able to accomodate those specifically listed on your invitation.
Although we love your little ones, we intend to keep this is an adults-only celebration (with exceptional arrangements for our immediate family/wedding party). If you require babysitting services, please let us know.
Please refer to the 'Travel' tab of our website for more information. If you have any additional questions regarding how to get to the Castle, please do not hesitate to reach out to us and we will gladly help guide you.
Please refer to the 'Accomodations / Travel' section. The venue has lodges and rooms all around the estate which we will allocate accordingly based on RSVPs. There is no need for you to book AirBnBs or Hotels unless it's a personal preference.
You can't predict the weather in Scotland. Plan for rain but hope for sun!
Please refer to the schedule and RSVP section. The dress code for the Welcome Party is cocktail attire. This event is held at the castle and weather pending, will be in the courtyard outside. The dress code for the wedding is formal attire. The ceremony is held at St. Palladius Church and is a short walk from the castle. Kilts are encouraged but not required!
No, the wedding ceremony will be held at St Palladius Church and the reception will be held at Drumtochty Castle. Both are on the same estate and are a short walk between each other. Cars will be available if required.
The ceremony begins at 1:00pm. Guests will be asked to gather at St Palladius Church located a short walk from Drumtochty Castle, 20 minutes ahead of the ceremony. Our wedding party will be there to greet you, and escort guests into the venue.
Indoors! Scotland's weather is difficult to predict so the ceremony will be held indoors but we are hoping to spend time outside as well.
Yes! Please let us know of your dietary restrictions in the RSVP section of our website.
While our ceremony will begin "unplugged," our officiant will let you know when everyone can begin taking photos and videos following the vows!
There are no formalised plans ahead of the wedding but we do plan on being in Dunblane the week prior to the wedding. For those interested on the Thursday leading up to the wedding weekend, we plan on having welcome drinks at the Tappit Hen Pub in Dunblane. You can access Dunblane via train or if you wish to stay in the area prior to driving to Drumtochty Castle on Friday, we recommend the DoubleTree Hilton in town.
Whilst breakfast is provided for our guests in the morning, we recommend bringing any snacks or food you wish to have on person as the nearest town to purchase groceries is 10-15 minutes away.
