Located right next to Lou Lou’s Jungle Room, the Lafayette Hotel has several bar options, a pool, and even a bowling alley! Will and Neeloo came here on Valentine’s Day with some friends and had an amazing time playing foosball while enjoying the best Manhattan Neeloo has ever had! The Lafayette Hotel is sandwiched between the University Heights and North Park neighborhoods. Considered by many to be one of the most trendy areas within San Diego, there is no shortage of beautiful parks, unique activities, shops, and restaurants here.

Paradise Point is your staycation getaway by the water! Featuring several pools/restaurants and spa amenities, these bungalow styled rooms are a good option for families looking to kick back, relax and socialize within walking distance from one another. Neeloo and Will spent their second 4th of July celebration here with family and friends and got to enjoy seeing fireworks over the bay. Fireworks from Seaworld can also be seen at the resort almost every night. Paradise point is a great option if you're looking to stay close to the water in a quiet bungalow style accommodation. We recommend renting a car or planning for frequent ride-shares as this location is bit off the beaten path.

If you’re looking for a hip place to stay in downtown San Diego, look no further than the Moxy! It is located in the Gaslamp District and features its own little bar that doubles as a check in station. Neeloo and Will discovered this place on a date night, stumbling across a hidden gem on the second floor. If you’re curious and have time to kill, head on over and grab a red book from the bookshelf on the second floor! Located in the heart of downtown, the Moxy is a great home base to explore the touristy, urban parts of downtown San Diego.
