What is the attire?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is Cocktail. This means a step up from smart casual, but less formal than black tie. Think of cocktail dresses, suits, or dressy separates!

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! If you are staying at the Holiday Inn Express, there will be a shuttle from the hotel to the venue. The shuttle will also be available from the venue back to the hotel.

Will you be reserving a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved a block of rooms for our guests at the Holiday Inn Express, just a 10-minute drive from the venue. To reserve a room, call 470-429-5907, press #0, and mention "Gilbert's wedding room block." This discounted rate is only available until July 30, so please be sure to book your room before then to secure the special rate.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Please enter through the main gate off Craft Road and let the guard know you’re attending a wedding. After entering, take a left at the first stop sign and follow the road until it dead-ends at the clubhouse. There is plenty of parking for our guests in front of the clubhouse.

What time are the events?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:30 PM, please arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony start time to give you plenty of time to find a seat. Cocktail hour, dinner, and our reception will follow.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

While we truly believe in "the more, the merrier," our wedding is strictly RSVP-only. We kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation attend, as we can only accommodate our invited guests.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, we’ll be exchanging our vows and enjoying cocktail hour outdoors. Dinner and the reception will be held indoors.
