Matron of Honor
Separated as children with no parents in common, Jen and Mary Ann are as similar as twins can be. There couldn't be two better peas in a pod than when they get lost using their GPS, can't find their glasses when they are on the top of their heads, and have an app installed just to find each other's phones. From Relay to Life to Hancock Christmas Walk, to Kukkakauppa Flower Shop, WMPL/MIX 93 radio, to painting and staining a house, to building gingerbread houses, the memories run circles and get wilder with each stroke of bold and textured colors.
Best Man
Managing to wrangle his wife Jeni and sister-in-law Mary Ann has been a big job, but Dale has handled it spectacularly! From supervising as the two ladies stained doors and window sills to painting a kitchen red, Dale made sure that the job got done and supplied the turpentine to clean up the "colorful" women. From his ability to organize and plan, he's helped Mary Ann through her trials and tribulations from losing her glasses on top of her head, to finding her coffee in her hand and downloading an app to keep track of her phone. He's happy to pass the torch to Bill with blessings to "brew the coffee" early, save all McDonald's on your GPS,, and have patience when she's shopping at thrift stores!
Bridesmaid
From their red hair to their love of hayrides, sunsets, and shenanigans..Mary Ann and Carmen go thru life together with strawberries in one hand and chocolate in the other dreaming "Woo Hoo! What a ride!"
Groomsman
Bill is known for his humor and ability to spot Mary Ann's sense of style and character. He's always caring and protective of her. One day, while pumping gas, he noticed a travel trailer pulling away from the gas station. He yelled, "Mary Ann, come back. Wrong trailer! Mary Ann come back!" Walking out of the station, Mary Ann, said, "Bill I'm right here." He pointed at the back of the trailer and said, "Oh, good. I thought you were leaving with the other trailer," as he pointed to a fake witch posed on the back of the trailer that was driving away. Whew... everyone knows that Mary Ann isn't a fake witch...
Bridesmaid
Of all the bridesmaids, Lynne has the best sense of style when it comes to brooches. One evening, before going for a walk, she, Carmen, and Mary Ann put on their sweaters and headed out the door. Mary Ann noticed the brooch and thought it was unlike any she had seen before and not really Lynne's style... it was "earthy", "natural in color," however, very textured. They walked and happened to meet up with a new neighbor and exchanged words and hugs and headed back home. It was only then, that Mary Ann asked about the brooch and Lynne took a better look at it... only to find that her dog had "deposited" the brooch on her sweater earlier in the day!
Groomsman
Tom is a man of patience and kindness. From welcoming Mary Ann and all her crazy family and friends to his cabin on the lake to hosting family festivities including picnics, swimming, kayaking, and bonfires to cutting wood to keep everyone warm on a chilly night, Tom is the dependable man in the group. He knows how to keep a sauna at the right temperature to offer relaxation, cleansing, and a spa-like atmosphere. He truly is the host and man who offers the the most!
Bridesmaid
The girl with the cowboy boots and country spirit has "always" known her cousin Bill. She's the one with llamas and horses and a garden of veggies and flowers. She'll tell you that there's no more special place to be than "on the farm" or at a "small town fair."
Bride Escort and Son
Mary Ann was saved from a life of crime by Jordan. As a young lad, he noticed that Mary Ann often left McDonald's with the serving trays. Being one who didn't like to throw things away when they could be recycled, she would take them home. As she was walking out the door with yet another tray and preaching about the environment and recycling, Jordan explained that if she left them above the trash receptacle, McDonald's would wash and reuse them. Thank God that Jordan saved the jail staff from having a visit from Mary Ann! Jordan races cars. After living through many rides with Mary Ann driving in his adolescent days, he has learned what NOT to do around corners, at stop signs, on wet/snowy pavement and how important it is to focus on driving and not where the next McDonald's is!
Bride Escort and Granddaughter
From kayaking at Twin Lakes to camping at Tom and Lynne's to going out for "bite to eat", Kira has melted Mary Ann's heart. She's a blessing that brings smiles and makes memories every day that Mary Ann and Bill spend with her.
