What's parking like?

Answer

Adjacent to St James 1868 are two paid public surface lots, the Milwaukee Library Lot and the Wells Fargo lot, where you can pay by QR code. Please make sure to pay to avoid being ticketed as these lots are monitored. There is additional street parking which is free all day on Saturday's. 8th Street, 9th Street and Michigan Ave are steps from St James.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is black tie optional. Tuxedo's and evening gowns are welcome, while dark suits and cocktail or formal dresses are just as perfect.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones as much as you do! However, we decided to keep our wedding to adults only. We encourage you to take advantage of this as a date night!

Can I take photos at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you kindly put your phones away and on silent for an unplugged ceremony. We have a wonderful photographer to help capture the ceremony.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Open bar will run during the cocktail hour from 4:30-5:30. Then the bar will open again at 6:30
