We’re getting married!

Makenzie and William’s journey began junior year of high school, thanks to Makenzie’s best friend, Hannah. After being welcomed into a new group of friends Makenzie went to a Metro baseball game — and that’s where she and William first noticed each-other. Their connection was instant. William asked Makenzie out on their first date on January 20, 2020, and by February 7, 2020, they were officially a couple. From the very beginning, their relationship was full of laughter, friendship, and dedication to each-other. Over the years, they grew up together — They navigated high school together, celebrated William’s transition to college, and he supported Makenzie as she pursued and earned her cosmetology license. Through every chapter, every milestone, and every ordinary day in between, they’ve been side by side, learning, laughing, and loving each-other. After 5.5 incredible years together, William popped the question on August 31, 2025, and Makenzie said yes. We’re so excited to celebrate the next chapter — surrounded by the people who have cheered us on from the very start!
