We're so excited to celebrate with you!

Planning to move to Nashville in the upcoming summer for work, Liana had no intentions of seriously dating. William, on the other hand, was looking for love. Liana's Tinder profile referenced The Office and said, "Looking for the Michael Scott to my Holly Flax," to which William sent a GIF from the show of Michael proposing to Holly and said, "Don't worry, I'm here now." Who knew he was predicting the future?! The two met for brunch after both debating cancelling and ended up talking for over four hours. In fact, Liana had to leave to go directly to a family birthday dinner! When Liana got to the family dinner, her mom asked how the date went, and she exclaimed, "He's fascinating!" "Fascinating?" Her mom replied. "I've never heard you call any guy that before." That's because no one else had been William! Liana pondered whether she had just met a best friend or the love of her life - it turns out that he was both.

On their second date, William detailed his car (he was ready to seal the deal) and picked Liana up at her apartment with a bouquet of yellow flowers - her favorite. William drove Liana to an apple orchard and challenged her to a race up a stack of hay bales; whoever reached the top first, got a kiss. It sounded like a win-win situation! Neither Will or Liana are known for their athletic abilities, but Will still beat Liana to the top. Out of breath, Liana and Will had their first kiss! Liana felt dizzy - was it from the kiss or the fact that she was trying not to show that she couldn't breathe?! Now we know that it was the kiss! When they got home, Liana invited Will inside to her deep-cleaned apartment (it turns out she was trying to make a good impression, too!). Sitting on the couch and chatting, Will told Liana that he was interested in her specifically and had no intentions of dating anyone else. Liana was surprised at how direct Will was, but was already loving his honesty.

About a year into the relationship, Liana took a trip to Europe with a few of her best girlfriends. While she was traveling, Will surprised her by ripping all of the carpet out of the apartment and laying down "wood" floors. To make this happen, Will had to take several days off of work, learn to lay flooring for the very first time, and move every item and piece of furniture in the apartment! When Liana got home from Europe, she was so surprised to see what seemed like a brand new apartment! William had done a wonderful job, worked so hard, and given her such a wonderful gift. From that point forward, both Liana and Will called the apartment home.

William and Liana were headed up to the Vultaggio family cabin for a long weekend. That morning, Will looked at Liana and said, “Isn’t today a great day?” Not looking past the fact that they got to have a few days off work, Liana agreed. Throughout the day, Will sprinkled Liana with little surprises – breakfast delivered to the house, a coffee drink on the drive up north – reminding her along the way that it was a “great day!” With each surprise, Liana was a little more perplexed. During the drive, Will was asking Liana about which of her friends she thought might get engaged next. Liana was surprised at William’s sudden interest in wedding talk, but she took it, and they daydreamed about the future together. Pulling into the cabin driveway, Will asked Liana to go for a walk. This wasn’t typical of Will, either, and Liana started to feel her tummy turn. She could tell something was up. As they started their stroll, Will asked if he could walk on Liana’s other side. Her tummy started to turn a bit more. Then, he started to sing one of their favorite songs (Grow Old with You by Adam Sandler) and Liana's nerves cranked up again. Not knowing what to do, she just sang along with Will. At the end of the song, they arrived at a clearing on the property. Will tugged on Liana’s hand and she turned around to see him down on one knee, holding the beautiful ring. Tears in his eyes, he looked at her and said, “So what do you say – will you grow old with me?” Of course, the answer was “yes!”
