ABSOLUTELY! If you are feeling the least bit ill, PLEASE DO NOT COME. Though we will miss you, risking your health or the health of others is just not worth it to us! We TOTALLY understand. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask, PLEASE wear one! We want everyone to feel safe and have a good time as well. With that being said, that day is supposed to be HAPPY and BEAUTIFUL and we would really appreciate the limiting of talking about Covid. Yes, it’s a big part of our lives right now, but let’s not think about all the negative on that one day and have fun! Disclaimer: If things start to get worse, we will have to cut our list down. I hope everyone understands and isn’t upset with us if we have to make that difficult decision. 🤍
This is a tough one because we want everyone to have a good time! Due to covid we are not allowing plus ones that are not specifically invited, we need to ensure the safety of everyone and can’t have too many people.
Parking is available on the street, it’s a dead end road so there will be plenty of street parking in the round about. Please be sure not to park in others driveways unless directed to do so at location. Please be aware, there will be vendors parked in the driveway of the house so please ONLY park on the street.
The bride and groom would like you to arrive after 3 pm! Please try to be on time to ensure no interruptions during the ceremony. We will have the bar set up and appetizers for you to enjoy while you wait.
We want YOU to be comfortable. Black tie NOT NECESSARY. You’re on a beach; go barefoot if you want! (Watch out for stickers in the grass) Definitely check the weather before hand, we will be keeping an eye on it as well and will plan accordingly!
ABSOLUTELY! PLEASE! Grab a drink, take a seat, and get your tissues out 😉
NO! Please let our photographer do her job and get the best pictures she can for us to enjoy later! Wait til the reception we will get a TON of selfies!
Because we did not book at a traditional venue, we basically make our own rules. We will provide beer, wine, sodas, water and a few extra things. If you want to bring your own liquor, or drinks feel free to roll up with your cooler! There is also a store right down the street if we happen to run out (i don’t think we will) We just ask that you PLEASE DRINK RESPONSIBLY. Do not drive Do not be disrespectful
We have invited a ton of guests, please remain downstairs where the reception and ceremony are unless you ask someone! We will have bathrooms outside and there is always the beach! 🤣🤣
OF COURSE, we will have a kid section set up with things for them to keep themselves busy! Please remember we are on a beach, so please just keep an eye on them!
November is a REALLY slow time for Crystal Beach. My advice is to call Swedes Real Estate (contact info available on “Travel” tab) and find out beach houses available. They tend to be really affordable around that time. If you do not want to do that, you could get a hotel in Galveston, you would have to take a ferry ride over but it’s not that far!
