Wedding: Summer Formal Day 2: Summer BBQ Attire: Summer Dresses, Chinos, Casual Buttondowns. Ireland can be very humid in the summer and the weather is unpredictable. Bring an umbrella and a lightweight rainjacket.
Kids are welcome to Friday and Sunday festivities. We kindly ask you to make other arragements for child sitting on Saturday. Our own kid isn't even invited to the wedding. We do have some nannies on reserve. Please reach out to Lauren ASAP if you would like to use one of these nannies. Yes, there is a parking lot at both the Muckross and Kate Kearney's Cottage. We recommend the shuttles for those interested in libations, which is hopefully all of you! It's an Irish Wedding after all.
We will be offering shuttles from the Killarney City Center & The Brehon to the wedding venue. Shuttles will have 2 departure times back to the city center. Departure times to be updated soon. If you miss the shuttle, we will have taxi service on standby to give our guests priority pick up back to their destination. Shuttles will be provided on the Day 2 event. Shuttles will depart and return to both the Muckross and the City Center.
For those coming into Ireland, there will be some changes to entering the country in 2025. US, UK, Australia and Canada will have to apply for a travel visa. Switzerland is exempt. No dates have been announced yet (10/29/2024) but according to the website this will be changing in spring 2025.
