The first time I heard of will was when I was playing coed softball. There was always something about him that I was drawn to. I would catch myself saying man, one day I want to date that guy. At the time we were on 2 totally different paths in life ans I knew at the time it wasnt right and all I could do was pray for him, so that's exactly what I did. My heart always wanted to know his story and to get to know him. Well on 11-22-16 I got my chance. A mutual friend of ours invited me over to play some dominos and grab something to eat with them, so of course I went. That night he made it known that he was interested in getting to know me and after everything I had been through previously I had wall up and gave him heck, but we have been together ever since. We have had many things come our way that could of easily torn us apart, but with God it just made us stronger. We have a love that neither one of us knew existed or that we would have opportunity to experience.

Our proposal was so us. Very casual, laid back, and filled with lots of laughter then happy tears. On August 20, 2018 Will and I were in the car and heard a song on the radio called "The Greatest Love Story". I was joking with him saying oh how I could see you just playing this song and throwing the ring at me and saying will u marry me lol. He laughed and said yup I'm definitely throwing it at you😂. Well later that night he starting trying to sing that song and I couldn't make out what the heck he was singing and started laughing. He said babe try to find that song on the tablet. So in mean time he grabs a pillow and puts it on floor in front of me and gets on a knee and starts messing with me until i find the song. As the song starts playing he begins to sing/say the lyrics and I'm crying from laughing 😂 and he says Baby this is serious moment lol. At the end of the song the lyrics say "Baby say yes to me". As he begins to sing that part he slips the ring on my finger and says Baby I want to know if you will say yes to me and be my wife for life. Not truly realizing he was serious because he had been messing with me with a fake ring prior to, I look down and notice it's the real thing and here come the tears and emotions. It was the sweetest moment and the best part was that it was so him and how he felt comfortable doing it.
