Our Story

There’s so much to their story — more than they could ever fully put into words. God was working behind the scenes for months, quietly weaving their paths together, even when they didn’t realize it. They met at Conduit Church's young adults group, The Circle. At first, Kailey was definitely curious about the tall, blue-eyed country boy with the long brown hair. He was funny, had a genuine love for people, and it was clear that his faith was real and important to him. William, on the other hand… wasn’t quite on the same page just yet. So, they stayed acquaintances — nothing more than friendly faces in the same crowd. But time passed. And slowly, something shifted. A few months later, William began to realize there was something different — something special — about Kailey. He saw the way she loved people, how effortlessly she made others feel welcomed and valued. And when he watched her worship, he saw it clearly: her heart was pure, and her love for the Lord was something truly beautiful. So, he decided to take a chance and invited her to the fair… but not on a date. (If you know, you know.) That night was pure magic. They laughed, ran around like kids, and just clicked. Even though the feelings were mutual, neither of them really knew how to say it at the time. Both stayed quiet for three painful days — until the next Tuesday at The Circle, when William finally asked Kailey on a real date. Their first date was at Taziki’s in Berry Farms, followed by sitting in lawn chairs in the back of William’s truck on a hilltop, talking for six straight hours. They both felt the spark. The connection was instant and magnetic — like they had known each other forever. They continued dating for two months, and then came the big date — October 6th, 2024. William planned a surprise to officially ask Kailey to be his girlfriend. It was the most romantic evening: they dressed up, drove through the country, and ended up at a private airport in Nashville for a sunset helicopter ride over the city. It felt like a scene from a movie. On the way to dinner, he asked — and of course, she said yes. As they spent more time together, their love grew — gently, steadily, and deeply. It was the kind of love they had both prayed for. A love that’s patient, rooted in faith, and full of joy. One night, over dinner at North Italia, William looked at Kailey and said, “I don’t see this ending.” And that’s when they began talking about forever. Now, here we are — engaged, grateful, and over the moon excited to start our life together. We know we wouldn’t be here without God’s perfect timing and grace. He prepared each of us for the other, and we’re so thankful for this love He’s given us. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with you. It means the world to us to have you there on our special day!
