After just six months of knowing each other, we booked a trip to Thailand, where we devoured mangos every morning, roti every night, and got massages any chance we could. On our last day, we decided to use our remaining $40 for one more Thai massage, but a pen mark on our cash meant no one would exchange it. So, we trekked over 10k steps in the rain between exchange places, just to get a quick 20-minute massage—and nearly missed our flights in the process!

Funny enough, that ended up being the first time Kainalu and I ever said 'I love you'—and Juliette was literally the one to make it happen.
