What kind of drinks will be served?

Answer

There will be water, soft drinks and beer. You are also welcome to bring your drink of choice for the evening whether it be wine, liquor or a craft beer! With it being BYOB, there will be security on-site per the community center rules. Please drink responsibly.

What is Boquillas?

Answer

Boquillas del Carmen is a small border town with roughly 200 inhabitants. Tourism is the principal industry, so you will be bombarded with young salesmen. U.S. currency is accepted in Boquillas. Visitors are advised to bring a supply of smaller bills. Must have a current passport.

Is the Boquillas trip mandatory?

Answer

No! While we want you to celebrate with us, we understand that people will have to work, or children will still be in school that day. We will try to meet up at one spot the morning of and carpool as many people as possible. Don't forget your passport or else you will be stuck in Mexico!

Dressy/casual! Please wear whatever you feel good in!

Yes! I can’t wait to see them on the dance floor!

It is indoors and there is a spacious patio outdoors that we can enjoy as well.

We are still working that out since the ceremony and reception are in two different locations. We will have that posted as we get closer to the day of!
