FAQs

The Wedding Website of Gloria M. Patrón Fidalgo and William Caleb Moorman
If you have any other questions other than what we've listed here, please reach out to either the bride or groom!
Question

Can we bring our children to the wedding?

Answer

We would love to have your children at the wedding ceremony, so feel free to bring them if you want! For the wedding reception, however, we strongly encourage mom and dad to find a sitter so you can relax and enjoy the evening. We have limited space so please be mindful!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We encourage everyone to dress formally (black-tie, if you'd like). Guys, a suit and tie would be great! Gals, a long dress is just fine! Keep in mind that it is in April, so the weather conditions can be a bit unpredictable. Some weeks, temperatures could reach ~70 degrees Fahrenheit, and others could be ~40. We recommend to bring a jacket in case it's cold!

Question

Will there be parking for both places?

Answer

Yes and yes! Our ceremony will be at a church that has a fenced parking lot and the reception space also has a big parking lot, so no need to worry about street parking!

Question

What is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

March 1st. We have to give our vendors a final count so please be mindful!

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to our limited amount of reception space, we cannot accommodate any plus-ones that have not been explicitly added to the guest list by the bride or groom.

Question

what time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

If possible, try to be there 15-30 minutes before the start, which is 12:00pm.

Question

what time should I arrive to the reception?

Answer

Cocktail hour starts at 4:00 pm, so please try to arrive around that time! Keep in mind that, if you arrive too early, our wedding coordinator might not allow you inside if it's not ready.

Question

Will any part of the event be outdoors?

Answer

No. Everything will be indoors!

Question

how long of a drive is the reception space from the ceremony space?

Answer

It's about a 35-40 minute drive. Our gap should give you enough time to get there before the start of cocktail hour, but keep in mind that it is a Friday so rush hour could start as early as 3:00 pm. The two main routes to get to the reception space is taking Liberty Heights Avenue or taking the highway (695 to 70 to 32).

Question

How long is the ceremony?

Answer

We will have a wedding mass, so it will likely be about an hour and a half. We have a large gap between our ceremony and our reception in order to accommodate some of our family members with disabilities. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

are the ceremony and reception spaces handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes! They are both handicap accessible.

Question

Will you be reserving a hotel block for the people traveling?

Answer

No; however, we have provided a list of hotel options that are a short drive to both the ceremony and reception space. There are other options not listed close to them so finding a hotel shouldn't be a problem!

Question

If I wish to write a check as a gift, who do I address it to?

Answer

Please address all checks to William C. Moorman.
