Some things we know for certain in this life and that is you have one opportunity to live here in the physical sense. If you are lucky enough, you can find someone to live this life with and for. For us, together has been mostly filled with love, joy and laughter. Together, we have rejoiced, celebrated, mourned and cried. Together we have raised children, grandchildren, taken care of parents and weathered the storm after losing a child. Throughout every circumstance, we have come out stronger because we have come out together. When we began dating at 12 & 13 years old and marrying at 16 & 17, we would never have imagined a life together 54 years later. Life and love's challenges weren't always pleasant or comfortable, but God has a way of giving you just enough to build character, build faith and be a true testament to others. We have supported each other, we have consoled each other, we have strongly disliked each other, we have even considered life without one another, but one thing is for certain, we have NEVER fathomed the thought of no longer loving one another. Loving each other, supporting each other and trusting each other has not always been easy, but it has been worth it, it has been necessary and it has been rewarding.
