We're getting married!

We *officially* met in our IB physics class senior year of high school (we won't count our preschool years). We quickly became friends through mutual friends in our class and soon realized we were both crushing on each other. Our first date was to a pizza shop one of our friend's family owned and we talked well after the shop closed, which was only the beginning! We started dating November of 2019 and have since then endured a global pandemic, Will and his fam moving to NC from PA, 3 graduations (and counting), over 5 years of double long distance and we are still more in love than ever. Thanks God, for being the perfect example of the unconditional love we strive to find in each other.

The day started out like any other day, Will & I were on vacation with my family in Outer Banks, NC (my favorite spot, now even more so). We got up to watch the sunrise with friends and family and had the best beach day. Will suggested we go on a date that night since I had been at school all summer in Connecticut and he was working down in North Carolina and we never really got a lot of time to ourselves. He wanted to walk on the beach all the way to the restaurant, I disagreed, not wanting to walk back on the beach in the dark after dinner. My parents agreed to pick us up after dinner so off we went on our sunset beach walk to dinner and Will's plan set in motion. An undercover photographer, a perfectly special moment between the two of us (though all I remember hearing is my heart beating out of my chest) and surprised me with BOTH of our families watching from a distance ready to pop champagne and hug it out which just brought even more tears to my eyes. We can't wait to get married and celebrate our love and our future as the Connollys with our closest friends and family!
