Outstanding fermented apple juice from one of Virginia's greatest cideries. The views from their main building are incredible, and there's space to sit outside. You'll be hard-pressed (lol) to leave without a bottle or three. Be sure to try their "Levity" Cider which is naturally fermented in amphorae that are buried on the property over the winter.
A great, local shop with tons of artsy finds.
This restaurant was the first place we stopped in Orange, back in August of 2018 on our way to a weekend at Ankida Ridge Vineyard. Wise Guys has delicious burgers, regular and sweet potato fries and corny jokes on all the tables. You might be tempted to get a "double" or "triple" patty but William couldn't even fit a whole double patty burger in his mouth!
Don't let the exterior fool you, this is some delicious, award-winning BBQ from two CIA-trained chefs. Would be a great spot to get dinner if you come in on Friday night or want a big lunch on Saturday or Sunday. COVID-19 Update: Open for pick up or outdoor eating!
This is where most of the local restaurants and hotels have their coffee roasted. They make a delicious cappuccino or latte and have some good snacks as well.
Awesome, locally made ice cream from their family farm. They have great, classic flavors, and it's a perfect place to make a pit stop on the way to or from the DC area. COVID-19 Update: Open for drive through only!
