Flight

Narita & Haneda Airports (Tokyo)

Recommend flying into Tokyo (Narita, Haneda airports) then connecting to Fukuoka Airport. There are numerous domestic airlines (Jetstar, Peach) that have daily flights to/from Fukuoka. Flight time is ~2.5 hours.

Train

JR Rail

Instead of flying, taking the shinkansen (bullet train) is also a viable option. Travel time is ~5 hours from Tokyo to Fukuoka. For those who plan on traveling more via train, the JR Rail pass may be a cost effective option.
