Yes, this is a Scottish/Norse wedding and the Bride, Groom and attendants will all be dressed accordingly in garb. Guests are encouraged to dress in their favorite medieval theme.
It is encouraged but not required. If you would like to wear medieval clothing but do not have any, get with me and we'll work something out. :) Otherwise, just wear what you feel most comfortable in.
While we would love to invite everyone, we ask that only those specifically mentioned on your invitation attend our wedding. We are extremely limited on our venue capacity and are unable to allow for extra guests. Anyone who arrives that was not on the guest list or did not RSVP is welcome to stay for the Ceremony but will not be permitted to attend the Reception. If there is any confusion as to who is included on your invitation, you can head over to the RSVP page, enter your name and the names of those invited will populate. If I have made a mistake and not added a Spouse or Fiance, please let me know and I will correct the mistake.
Absolutely not! There will be Signature Cocktails, Beer, Wine, Punch, Ice Tea, Coffee and Water available but if there's something else you'd like to drink, you are free to bring your favorite beverage to drink or to pass. Please bring your favorite drinking mug along with you!
As much as we love kids and would like to see yours, our venue severely limits our guest count and although we've invited a very limited number of children based on special circumstance, we are unable to allow for any extra guests that are not listed on the invitation.
As soon as you receive your Save the Date or you're sure you can attend, please head over to the RSVP section of this website, type in your first and last name and please answer all the questions! :)
Yes, there is a parking lot very close to the venue. There is also Handicap parking right next to the building for those in need of it.
Absolutely! We encourage guests to take pictures and to post on Social media. We do request that you tag us in each picture so we can share in all of your photos! #williamandbethany2020 HOWEVER, while you are taking pictures, please be courteous of our Photographer and refrain from stepping in front of her or stepping in the aisle and blocking the Grooms sight or the wedding party's walkway.
Our wedding hashtag is #williamandbethany2020. Please be sure to tag any photos you take with this hashtag so we can see how much fun you had on our special day!
Yes, our entire venue is wheelchair accessible.
Weather permitting, our wedding ceremony will be outside in an open, wooded area. So bring something warm in case it gets chilly. Our reception is a very short walk away from the ceremony site, in a large log cabin. Both sites are handicap accessible.
As they always said in the Army, if you're early, you're on time, if you're on time, you're late! lol Please arrive by 3:00 pm and be seated no later than 3:15. The Ceremony begins promptly at 3:30 pm. Thank you ahead of time for your consideration in this matter.
The venue is a non smoking venue. If you chose to go outside for a smoke, PLEASE be considerate and pocket the filter butts when you are done. Please do not litter inside or outside of the venue. Thank you!
