We met at Centre College where we both received our bachelor degrees. We began dating on October 13th, 2019 after celebrating my birthday together. Since then we have enjoyed traveling and going on spontaneous adventures together all while continuing higher education. At the moment Will is pursuing a PhD at the University of Kentucky and I am pursuing a medical degree at KYCOM.

This summer we had decided to go to Mackinac Island, MI and tour the historical island. On our second evening in Mackinac Island, Will planned a dinner for us at The Carriage house, but before sitting down for dinner guided me out to the dock where he then proposed to me. He had a photographer waiting to capture the beautiful moment. Little did I know how much work Will had put into setting up that moment. He had called ahead to make sure the dock had been cleared off for the proposal and endlessly searched for a photographer, even after the one he had booked originally canceled last minute. After the proposal we had an amazing dinner and then headed off to play glow in the dark mini golf.
