Will and Alysia met as work colleagues at CAESER on campus at the University of Memphis (Both of their Alma Mater, Go Tigers Go!!). They easily become friends in the field and the office, sharing songs, stories, and YouTube videos across slack. It wasn't until a couple of years later that their friendship slowly started to bloom into romance! Between fun nights spent at home playing cards, watching The Best Of The Worst, a Pink Floyd laser light show, and Alysia's first college football game they couldn't get enough of each other! On a rainy night one November, after Alysia had come back from a work trip, she started laying the hints out that she liked him. It wasn't until the next day that Will figured it out and confessed that he liked her and wanted to be together.

While on a trip to Yellowstone National Park with some friends, they both woke up and headed out with their group to Artist Point. It was a cold morning and with a couple of things on the agenda for the day everyone huddled up in the cars to go see the sites. Along the way they stopped and Alysia was taking some pictures of the wildlife when the 2nd group of their friends went on ahead of them in a bit of a rush. Ever the worry wort, Alysia was worried she inconvenienced the group, but was told they just needed to use the bathroom, and they continued on to meet up. Once there she got out and asked the group if they found the bathroom and didn't get an answer cause most of her friends were heading off and away. Will and Alysia walked toward artist point and seeing their friends scattered about they began checking out the sights. The view was really breathtaking for them! Artist Point looks across the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and a stunning view of the Lower Falls. While Alysia was busy taking photos of the view and friends, Will's head raced with what was ahead of him. Plans had been prepared for this, talks had been had, hints hinted to, but everything was the future until this moment. In this moment it was all coming together into the real thing and it felt right. Will felt the plan become the action, and when a friend stood back to take their picture in front of the falls, Will got down on one knee and proposed. After hugs, kisses, words of love, and some misty eyes; Alysia and Will stood up and turned around to see their friends standing around; some hiding behind trees and in bushes, leading to lots of laughter amongst the newly proposed couple. Our friends made our proposal all the sweeter with their presence! Later that night we shared some wine by the campfire.

Will and Alysia love experiencing new things together. Whether that is going to see space rockets at the museum, camping in the mountains, or watching Gordan Ramsey rip chefs a new one, even the most mundane moments in life bring joy to each other. Their cat fills a special place in their hearts, he brings them so much joy (and pain if he isn't fed on time). They are always encouraging each other to grow and become better than yesterday. When not enjoying the big and little things in life together they each stay preoccupied with their own hobbies. Will is an experienced guitar player with a strong passion for music. When not jamming out to a classic song, he is occupying himself with college football. His favorite team the Tennessee Volunteers keep him on his toes through out the season. Taught by his mom and sharing Saturdays discussing football with his parents and brother, College football is truly a family affair in the Baranski household. Will loves being outdoors having spent many miles; hiking, backpacking, canoeing, biking and kayaking his way through the land. Often with friends who keep good company and those bonding moments with parents. Alysia, never satisfied knowing the unknown, keeps herself busy with many different hobbies and crafts. Weaving tapestries has become one of the best ways that she expresses herself and creativity. Always a fond lover of books, she tries to get in as much reading as she can and passing along her recommendations. Alysia feels just as much at home indoors working on a new art piece as she does outdoors camping underneath the stars, hiking, or kayaking. She loves spending time with her friends, hoping that they feel welcomed and loved in good company. She is always up for a relaxing night with the cat to end a hectic day.
