Where should I stay?

Answer

Our venue is in Georgetown, which is about 30 minutes north of Austin. We recommend staying at the hotels listed under the “travel” section for the night of the wedding (Saturday). For those wanting to stay in Austin, we recommend doing so on Friday (10/31) or Sunday (11/2). Our favorite areas are South Congress and the Domain.

How should I get around?

Answer

The venue is about 40 minutes from the airport. Uber and Lyft are easily accessible to get around, as well as rental cars.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We have arranged a shuttle from both recommended hotels to the venue. Please check the shuttle schedule on the "Travel" page. Please let us know when RSVPing if you plan to utilize the shuttle.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! The venue has plentiful parking. Mention at the gate that you are attending the wedding.

Is there a registry?

Answer

We have opted to not have a registry. We are very happy and grateful for everything we share. We kindly ask that you consider a gift toward our honeymoon fund. Envelopes will be graciously accepted at the wedding, or contributions may be made electronically via the “Registry” page on our website.

What should I wear at the wedding?

As this is a multicultural wedding, both formal Western or Indian attire are acceptable.

What's the after party?

Answer

We chose The Grumpy George in the Georgetown square, a smaller town north of Austin. It's been voted best town square in Texas! At the after party, we will have a karaoke DJ, so start thinking about your song. The after party will conclude at around 12:15am and Ubers/Lyfts are available to get back to the hotel. We hope you can join us!
