In October of 2023, Will was heading to North Carolina with his father for a boxing show and Precious decided to go home for fall break. In a slim chance passing, They matched online in a dating app called Bumble. They texted a couple of times, testing the waters, and after 3 days of texting Precious called Will to start his first voluntary three-hour phone call. This was the beginning of the conversation that never ended. Fast forward one month, and Will decides to drive six hours, one way, to go see Precious and check out Liberty University, where she was attending. This was their first time meeting, but not the last time they almost had to visit the hospital, you should ask Precious about what happened to her eye. The date was a success and after Will dropped Precious off at her dorm before curfew, he then drove the six hours back home to meet Precious' parents later that next day. From there on, Will and Precious became more involved with each other's families, their vacations, graduations, and tons of parties. Will was entering his final summer semester for his bachelor's degree when he got injured at work and ended up in the ICU. Precious spent every chance she had, between her barista job and serving at the church, going to Will's bedside to; read the Bible to him, pray over him, and provide comfort to his family. Will, of course, would go on to recover and wrap up his bachelor's degree while Precious busted tail working and serving trying to prepare for the upcoming fall semester. By this time, Will was accepted into Liberty University's Masters of Divinity program. Now, they would start spending their fall and spring semesters studying The Word together, focusing on their school, and laying the foundations for their future ministry. This was beautifully interrupted by an October trip back to Chattanooga to celebrate a friend's wedding. Precious and Will would, the day after the wedding, visit Rock City. It was here, on the bluff overlooking half a dozen different states, that Will got on one knee and asked for Precious to marry him. Precious was ecstatic and Will was relieved to hear her say "Yes!". Now we are here getting ready to join together in a covenant before the one true king of kings and would love to have you join us in celebration of this union!
