KUL to BKI

So you would have to fly into Kuala Lumpur (KUL) first, and from there, you can easily take any budget airline to Kota Kinabalu (BKI).

This is where we'll be having our sunset ceremony and reception dinner! It is a bougie hotel and it's located on one of my (Janelle) favorite beaches in Sabah so it'll be cool to stay here a night or more! Since Kota Kinabalu town is about 40 minutes out from here, this is a great option for friends and family that want to splurge and bask in the ambiance of the ocean and experience Malaysian hospitality the world-class, Shangri-La way! Getting around...

Get the Grab app! It's the easiest and cheapest way to get around town. We've had some *emotional damage* from Uber, but it's so much better than Uber, trust me! You can even order food off of it and they always have a bunch of deals going on. Works best if you have a "No Foreign Transaction Fee" credit card!
