Also known as Downtown Alpharetta, City Center has a plethora of shops, restaurants, bars and plenty of people watching! Grab a drink (it's open container!) and walk around or do some shopping! Some bars to check out are Jekyll Brewing, Up on the Roof, Taffer's Tavern (fun cocktails!), Central City Tavern and Mercantile Social. A few restaurants we love are Never Enough Tyme (great for lunch), Carson Kitchen, Citizen Soul, Jinya Ramen Bar, Maple Street Biscuit Co and DaVinci Donuts. Be sure to check out the Farmers Market open Saturday's until 1pm!
Down the street from City Center, Avalon is a must see! High-end shops, restaurants, a movie theater, it's quite the popular hub! Also an open container area, grab a drink from one of the carts or bars and walk around! A few restaurants we love are Superica, True Food Kitchen (great for lunch), Kona Grill, Colletta, and Antico.
For those looking for something more physical to do!
About 30 minutes from Alpharetta, the Smyrna area is where Matt and I call home! The Battery is home to the Atlanta Braves baseball stadium but also has multiple restaurants, bars and shops. Also an open container area, grab a beer from Wahlburger's and walk around! Stop by Punch Bowl Social for arcade games, bowling, and ping pong or head over to Sports & Social and check out the 30 foot TV!
A must do in the Downtown Atlanta area! Georgia is home to one of the largest aquariums in the world and it's truly a sight to see! Make sure to purchase tickets in advance.
