We're getting married!

Like many modern love stories, theirs began with a dating app—but from the very first date, things were anything but ordinary. Dan and Ali met at Fort Monroe, a scenic spot by the water, and while the setting was perfect, the timing was… entertaining, to say the least. As commissioner of her fantasy football league, Ali was fielding constant calls from her family about the draft. Every few minutes, she had to step away, leaving Dan to wonder what exactly he’d signed up for. But even with the interruptions, the evening had its own kind of magic. They watched the sunset together—until a boat crashed into the dock, completely destroying it and bringing the date to a chaotic, unforgettable close. They laughed as they said goodbye, unsure if they'd ever see each other again. Thankfully, they did. Over the next three years, Dan and Ali built a life full of adventure and love. They became scuba certified, traveled to Florida and Belize, and hit the slopes in New England and New Mexico. Dan even convinced Ali to go camping—a true achievement! Along the way, they met each other’s families. Dan was initiated into Ali’s with an impromptu Mexican dinner for 20, and Ali was welcomed into Dan’s with open arms and a seat at every holiday table. Then, in a full-circle moment, Dan brought Ali back to Fort Monroe and asked her to spend forever with him. They ended the evening at the same restaurant where it all began—watching another sunset, just like they had on that very first date. Now, they can’t wait to begin this next chapter—marriage—and are so excited to celebrate with all of you!
