Is there transportation available?

Answer

The Best Western will have a shuttle service to and from the Surf Ballroom. They will offer a drop off from the hotel to the Surf at 6:00 and two pick up times from the Surf to the Best Western: 9:30 and 11:30. Other options include Uber, Lyft, and Express Taxi Mason City.

I noticed that there is a gap in time between the ceremony and the reception. Why is that?

Answer

Please be courteous during this time. We have chosen to forgo the first look, so we will need time to get pictures taken together. The time between the ceremony and reception gives you an opportunity to check into your hotel room or explore Clear Lake! Please see *Things to Do* for some of our local favorites! Grab a drink and get ready to celebrate!

Are there other events in Clear Lake the weekend of July 13?

The Bicycles, Blues and BBQ event is also going on in Clear Lake, so please be aware of bikers in town! We have shared the bike route on Facebook, so check that out to see what roads will be blocked off. We are doing our best to block off as much parking as possible close to the church!
