Believe it or not, our 2019 love story didn’t start with a dating app. Our relationship began through a good, old fashioned date set up. A friend of Andrea’s from her gym decided to play matchmaker and introduce her to a coworker who was a big runner, a lover of breweries and simply hilarious. At the same time, Adam’s coworker was manifesting him to meet someone who was just as easygoing, fun and also thrives on staying active. Little did we know that we’d had several near-miss meetings over the past few years, with Andrea working with Adam’s younger brother for over 5 years, and coincidentally both running in the same relay race in Duluth in August of 2019. We finally met in the fall of 2019 and the rest is history.
We’d been together for 5 months when the pandemic hit. With everything shut down and an unknown amount of free time we figured why not remodel Adam’s entire house and see how that goes. Between Andrea’s attention to detail and Adam’s go-get-em attitude we’ve managed not to kill each other and finish countless projects. Adam surprised Andrea in February by getting down on one knee on a snowmobiling trip, and she said yes, and couldn’t believe he’d bring the ring out in the snow! It seems that around every corner turned, there’s another new adventure together. This is only the beginning!
