Yes. Everyone is invited to both the rehearsal dinner and brunch.

Where is parking for the rehearsal dinner and brunch?

Answer

Closest parking for the rehearsal dinner at Poogan's Courtyard and brunch at Church and Union in downtown Charleston can be: street paid parking, 14 Cumberland Street Garage, Concord Parking Garage at 1 Cumberland Street and at 174 Church Street Parking. Both venues are close to one another.

Does the ceremony take place outside?

Answer

Yes. Rain or shine, and tents will be provided if needed. The ceremony will take place at the Octagonal Gardens. Please expect warm temperatures and outdoor landscapes (grass/gravel/compact sand). If it rains, please do bring an umbrella and/or rain gear with you.

Will there be parking available at the ceremony?

Answer

Yes. When you arrive please follow the signs and park in the designated open grassy field area.

Where do we go when we arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

When you arrive you will be directed to walk along a garden path, starting at the Reflection Pool leading up to the Octagonal Gardens. There you will be greeted and ushers will escort you to your seats.

Will there be transportation available for those who need assistance at the ceremony?

Answer

Yes. A Middleton Place staff member will have a golf cart for those who need assistance to and from the parking area and Octagonal Gardens.

Where is the reception located?

Answer

After the ceremony you will be guided along paths (with great photo opportunities) that lead you to the Pavilion (close to the parking area).

Is there transportation available to go to the ceremony, if staying the at the Middleton Place Inn?

Answer

Yes. A shuttle will take guests from 4:45 PM to 5:30 PM to the Middleton Place. But please do arrive prior to the ceremony to get some pre-ceremony refreshments!

Is there transportation from the reception to the Middleton Place Inn after the reception?

Answer

Yes. After the reception a shuttle service will take those who are staying at the Inn from 10:45 PM to 11:30 PM.
