Wedding Party

Meet the people that will be covering us with love on our big day.

April and Barbara Beacon

Officiant and Mother's of the Groom

April (left), When I tell you -- I couldn't be more thankful for this woman! She has brought so much positivity, not just to my life but my Mom's as well. Ms. April has always given me words of encouragement and pointed me in the right direction. She has helped me be the man that stands today. That being said, we would be more than honored to have you officiate our wedding. My mother, Barbara (right), This goofy and crazy woman is the reason that I am me. Without her guidance and caring, not just for me but for others, I probably would be a selfish, spoiled brat. She would not have allowed that. She has made sure I kept my head on straight and wouldn't let me crumble, even in times I just wanted to completely give up. She always gives me words of encouragement and still does to this day.

Romana Lopes

Mother of the Bride

This is my beautiful Mother. She has always been my rock. She is loud, silly, smart and unapologetically herself. She is a self-made women that can do everything from hem pants to tiling a floor. Your unconditional love always leaves me feeling protected. I know we have our inside jokes about you being overbearing but please, please, PLEASE, never stop. Love you, Mama!

Jamel Weatherspoon

Father of the Bride

My dad, Jamel is not just my father, he is my mentor, counselor, consultant, handy man and much more. There isn't much that he can't do! His hard work and dedication has always inspired me to put my best foot forward. I appreciate all you have done and all you continue to do. Can't wait for you to walk me down that aisle. Love you lots, Pop By my Dad's side is his wife Jan. Jan, you have truly been an inspiration and another positive energy on my team. I love you and thank you for all you have done for me and Jess.

Katie

Bridesmaid

This beautiful and intelligent young lady, Katie will be walking as a bridesmaid. Katie is the closest thing to a child I have. It has been an honor for me to watch her grow from the kid I once knew into a mature, young women. Uncle Tramaine loves you.

Jessica

Maid of Honor

The Maid of Dishonor, my beautiful, quirky, intelligent, passionate sister Jessie. We met when I was born and the rest is history. We are so similar yet so different and I wouldn't have it any other way. The more we grew into the women we are now, the closer we became. Your passion inspires me to stand by my convictions. You are the best sister a girl can ask for and its an honor to have you as my Right-hand Woman. Love you sis !

Brittani

Bridesmaid

My loyal, feisty, boss babe, beautiful bridesmaid Britt ! We met at FSCJ (2012) when we both side eyed a boy arguing with the professor about affirmative action. We bonded over coffee and laughs soon after. That semester she went off to FSU where we were reunited the following year. She took me under her Tally wings and showed me how to do college the right (wrong) way lol. We have been tight-tight getting closer and into shenanigan's ever since. When we are together, we live, we laugh, we grow, and we love. Love ya Britt<3

Daniela

Bridesmaid

My silly, worldly, witty, beautiful Bridesmaid Daniela. I moved into my childhood home (2001) eager to meet new friends. One day we found a Valentine's Day card in our mailbox. The card's return addressed was the house on the corner, so Jessie and I ventured off to thank the sender for that act of kindness. As we arrived at the sender's home we noticed an adult man cutting the grass. We scurried back in fear. Upon deeper inspection we learned that his daughter had sent us the card. After a formal introduction we became thick as thieves and have been frolicking through life ever since. From dancing at teen formals, to dancing in the woods at festivals, you are the Beavis to my Butthead. Love you Chica!

Tim

BridesBro

The hardworking, charming, free thinking, bridesbro Tim. We met via social media (2007) Myspace to be exact. Once we learned we lived one neighborhood apart, we bonded over the simple hoodrat things like walking around, buying oatmeal cream pies, and going to the park. We grew to be each others biggest critic and loudest cheerleader. This dynamic continues today as we constantly challenge each other to be our best. Tim, you are a good man, great father, talented artist, and loyal friend. So honored to have you on my team. Luh you breh breh lol

Russell

Best Man

I met this fool "Risky Russ" through a friend in middle school. We knew of each other because we shared the same home room. Little did we know a mutual friend would introduce us saying " you two are my closest friends and I want ya'll to meet". That one sentence created decades of destruction lol. No seriously though, it created a friendship that would last forever. Honestly, this dude is more like a brother than anything.

Bobby

Groomsman

Bobby is a long time friend who I first met at his birthday. One August 25th decades ago, I was passing his house when he asked if I wanted to play football. That was the beginning of a long and loyal friendship. I didn't realize it then but he has become so important in my life.

Joe

Groomsman

I met Joe through my best man Russell back in 2006. We were at a Young Joc and Chingy concert... yea it was that long ago. We had a great time singing the words to Chingy's "Right Thurr" and aggressively bouncing our shoulders to Young Joc's "It's Goin' Down". Through mutual friends and music we went on to become better friends but more like brothers.

Kels

Groomsman

I think it was back in the 8th grade when I met Kels. We would play basketball, football, and go to the swimming pool. I think he mainly knew who I was because for some reason I decided to dye my hair blonde and everyone called me "Sisqo". I guess it goes without saying that I was the butt of a lot of jokes - ahh good times. Sisqo started our friendship, but we continued to grow closer as time went on.

Uncle Steve

Groomsman

Ahh Uncle Steve. This guy right here is the life of every event and is guaranteed to keep you laughing. Uncle Steve has always steered me in the right direction. Hell, he is a big part of why I have a career at Fedex. He never fails to let me know how proud of me he is and I enjoy it every time he tells me. It encourages me to keep pushing. Thank you, Unc
