The Ceremony will be held at St. Boniface Church, 510 N. Lincoln St., Bay City, MI. The church has limited street parking and a small lot in back, off of N. Birney St. If needed, additional parking in available next door at the Academy Center. The Reception will take place about 3 minutes from the church at the DoubleTree Hotel at One Wenonah Park Place, Bay City, MI 48708. Parking is ample. If you park in the garage you will be closest to the door that goes directly to the reception space. Just follow the signs with our names on it. Make sure to check out our travel section to learn more about hotels and the area.
The ceremony will begin at two in the afternoon. Please join us for drinks at the DoubleTree starting at 5:30 pm. Reception seating will begin at 6:00, with dinner starting shortly after. Check out the 'Things To Do" tab for what we recommend in between the ceremony and reception.
While we love all your kiddos, we cannot accommodate children outside of immediate family at the reception. Thank you!
We love that you want to capture our special moments. We have hired a excellent photographer for our wedding and kindly ask that you allow her to do her job, and refrain from taking photographs during the ceremony. When we look back on our pictures we want to see your faces, not your phones! During the reception there will be signage with a QR code that will let you share any photos you do take with us if you choose to. We would love to see them all. If you want to post anything on social media, just make sure we look good 😉
Unfortunately, yes. For some background, Bay City has 4 bridges connecting the east and west side of the city: Independence, Liberty, Veterans Memorial, and Lafayette (also known as the "Double Hump"). All ceremony events will be on the east side. If any out of town guests want to head across the river, we wanted to let you know that one bridge will likely be closed (under construction), while two others are considered toll bridges. We recommend sticking with the Veterans Memorial Bridge, which conveniently is the closest to the venue. If you are coming in from Saginaw's east-side, you can also take the M-13/River Road north into Bay City.
