Tara and Will met at Duke University and began dating in 2012, just in time for them to graduate. Luckily for Will, Tara was in awe of his baseball skills (and earning potential in the Minor Leagues) enough to stick out a long distance relationship as he pursued a baseball career. During the season, Tara visited Will up and down the East Coast and during the off-season he lived with her in NYC. They look back on these 2.5 years with many fond memories, like Tara eating funnel cake in the stands alone watching Will during the 11th inning of a double header in Hagerstown, MD and Will working as a Pawfessional (dogwalker) to pay his portion of rent in a four bedroom apartment with Tara and three other women (including her sister Rachel) in NYC. The couple then moved to Philadelphia to attend medical school; Tara is currently a 4th year at Temple, and Will is currently a 3rd year at Penn. When they aren't studying, you can find Tara looking at pictures of the family dogs, Bailey and Penny, and you'll find Will watering his basil. Will and Tara feel incredibly lucky to have Tara's entire family living close by, as well as Will's sister Katie, who lived in Philly for their first 3 years. Will's parents live in Houston, but visit often and even hosted Tara for a month while she did an away rotation at Baylor. Will and Tara have remained best friends with their Duke crew, all of which will be in the wedding, and frequently get together with them throughout the years. They also feel fortunate to have many close friends from various phases of their lives!
