Both invited to a friend's wedding, Will had his eyes on Sydney from the start... He made his attempt not once, not twice, but three times to say hi! His big moment finally came and... wait, did he just mess that up?! Apparently, not in the slightest. Five months later, they begin talking on social media (kids these days...), and soon they were having their first date at Blue Agave in Fort Collins, CO. Will still healing from surgery, and Sydney trying to survive her last week of her internship, it was a perfect getaway to get their minds off of everything for a moment. Conversation went on for hours, seeming to last only minutes. Soon, Will was making the hour and a half drive to bring her on romantic date number two, in the heart of Laramie, Wyoming, where Sydney was living in an AirBNB. A sweet congratulatory balloon in tow, Will hadn't realized the change in altitude had deflated it! Will got lost... Sydney got them lost again... Will went in for the kiss... Sydney went in for the hug. But nothing could dampen the fun, with each mishap proving to be only another memory they still giggle about! Something about those first couple of dates resonated with Sydney. This was possibly the busiest time in her life thus far, and yet she felt a connection that seemingly diffused the stress of her academic and professional pursuits. That connection grew by the hour, and the rest has been history. It seems like Will's strong pursuit, goofy charm, and sweet, gentlemanly nature was enough to win her over! On the precipice of a new life together, they now eagerly wait to celebrate what is sure to be a memorable wedding. Few people are blessed with a love grounded in true friendship, and the party on October 3, 2020 will certainly extend well beyond their vows and into a future of laughter together.
