Jess Woods

Steph's Older Sister of Honor

Protector, Peter to my Valentine, Rose Red to my Snow White, Librarian to my Veterinarian, Role Model, Genius, Chef, Mixologist, Business Owner, Advisor, Roadtrip Antihero, and my lifelong best friend. As soon as I came into this world, Jess started to look after me and made me safe, and she's still the person I trust the most in this world. She's been my tutor, my secret keeper, my Scrabble foe, my lunch maker, my concert buddy, my roommate, my last-name sharer, and my confidante. She's taught me the pleasure of appreciating good drink and good food and I never feel prouder than when I can make her ha ha ha he he he until she cries.

Ashley Serra

Steph's Little Sister of Honor

I don't know how this little munchkin can fit her big brains, creativity, artistic prodigalness, and movie knowledge into her small little body. Ash is dad's curly brown haired baguette chomping mini-me and mustache appreciator. She's mom's best present to our family, and Jess and I would fight anyone who hurts her. She's also the creator of Will and my marriage seal that we will treasure forever!

Steph's BFFs

Over a decade of friendship through good times and bad, our little trio has stuck together. We've shared fake names, epic adventures, some horror stories, our highest points, and our lowest points; and always have had each other's backs through it all. Nobody can keep me in line (or forgive me for getting out of it) like these two! You know you're family when you can be your true self around each other and share all your secrets without hesitation. Thank you for being my constants through life's up and downs.

Will's BFF

Kelly Ward

Officiant

Kelly became a part of the family in 1998 when she and my sister were assigned as roommates for their freshman year of college. In my younger days, I used to joke she's the older sister I always wanted, but really she is a great bonus sister. Visiting Kelly at her various homes and at her cafe, Lotus Kitchen on Solomons, made me fall in love with Southern Maryland. So that's basically why I'm here and how after a few years chain of events I was ultimately led to Will. Now, Kelly is doing us the honor of marrying us, and I can't think of someone more genuine or spiritual to help us tie the knot.
