Will there be transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing complimentary shuttle transportation for our guests. Shuttles will run between the venue and The Hampton Inn at Oxford, which will serve as the pickup and drop-off point. If you’d like to use the shuttle, we recommend booking your stay at this hotel. Departure times will be updated soon!

Are Ubers or Lyfts available in the area?

Answer

Uber and Lyft are very limited in rural Maine and often unavailable outside larger towns. We strongly recommend not relying on ride-share services unless they are scheduled in advance.

If I’m staying somewhere else, can I still take the shuttle?

Answer

Absolutely. Just make sure you let us know in your RSVP that you'd like to take transportation so we ensure we have enough seats. If you’ve booked a different accommodation, you’re welcome to drive to the Hampton Inn at Oxford and hop on the shuttle from there. Just be sure to arrive a little early so you don’t miss departure time.

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire is recommended. Our celebration will take place outdoors at a lakeside estate in a tented setting. We recommend comfortable shoes for grass and outdoor terrain, and a warm layer for cooler evening temperatures.

Are kids allowed at the wedding?

Answer

We love your little ones, but our wedding ceremony and reception will be adults-only. We hope this gives everyone an opportunity to relax and celebrate with us. Children are welcome to attend our Friday Afternoon Kickoff, and we'd love to see them there!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We encourage guests to arrive between 2p - 2:25p. The ceremony will begin at 2:30p. More details on transportation departure times to come!
