Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle alongside us!

Lane Kennedy

Best Man

Lane has been my ride-or-die and role model for as long as I can remember. He’s always shown me what to do—and sometimes what not to do—but either way, it’s always been a lesson. The highlight of our time together was playing college basketball at Evergreen State in Olympia, WA. That experience was unpredictable and intense, but having my brother and best friend by my side made it a lot easier. Since college, our competitiveness has shifted to golf. We love playing and competing, even though I know me winning most of the time probably drives him crazy deep down.

Emily Scanlon

Maid of Honor

Emily and I first met in 6th grade and have been inseparable ever since. She lights up every room she walks into and truly is the life of the party. From middle school and high school memories to long-distance years when I lived in Arizona, Emily has always been my biggest supporter and one of the most loyal friends I could ask for. No matter the distance or season of life, she has always been there for me with encouragement, laughter, and unconditional love. I’m so grateful for our friendship and for all the memories we’ve shared, and I can’t wait for all the ones still to come.

Tyler Furukawa

Groomsman

Tyler, better known as "Furry," and I first met in middle school as basketball rivals. We became close during our junior and senior years of high school, and our friendship has only grown stronger since. Although college took us to opposite sides of the state—Furry to Washington State University in Pullman and me to Evergreen in Olympia—we stayed connected through our nightly Rocket League games on Xbox. For the past three years, we've also worked together and carpooled to the Coeur d'Alene Resort. Furry is the kind of friend everyone needs—someone who shows up no matter the distance or circumstances. He has always supported not only me, but both Ri and me unconditionally.

Hailee Templeton

Bridesmaid

Hailee and I first met our freshman year of high school during volleyball tryouts. After we made the same team, we quickly became inseparable. For the next year, it was rare for a day to go by without her being at my house before practice, spending time together and getting ready for whatever the season brought us. Even with time and distance, nothing really changes between us. We can go months without seeing each other, but the moment we’re back together, it feels like no time has passed at all. I’m grateful for the kind of friendship that can pick up right where it left off, no matter how much time has gone by, and I know that will always stay the same.

Tyler Mee

Groomsman

Tyler and I met in elementary school at Chester when he arrived as the new kid from Montana. We quickly became teammates in just about every recess activity, especially flag football. Years later, we continued that tradition when we played high school golf together during our senior year, spending countless days driving to the course and playing nine holes after school. Since then, Tyler has built an impressive career in golf, working in places like Big Sky, Montana; Chicago, Illinois; and Queenstown, New Zealand. While I always enjoyed visiting him on his golf adventures, I'm especially glad to have him back home and working in Coeur d'Alene.

Cheyenne Bray

Bridesmaid

Cheyenne and I met when Will and I first started dating. She is the girlfriend of Will’s older brother, Lane, and we actually started dating the boys about a month apart. After countless hangouts at the Kennedy household, she quickly became one of my closest friends. From family gatherings to girls’ nights and everything in between, Cheyenne has been such a fun, supportive, and important part of my life. I’m so grateful our lives became so intertwined, and I look forward to all the memories still ahead of us.

Kaden Maulsby

Groomsman

Kaden and I met in middle school but became close in late high school and throughout college. He’s always down to try something new, whether that’s joining Tyler Furukawa and me for our Rocket League nights or learning and playing golf with the crew over the past couple of years. Kaden is the best kind of friend—he always checks in and asks how you’re doing, even if it’s been a while. He truly cares about the people close to him. Between golf and bowling, we’ve been able to stay connected, share plenty of laughs, and make the most of our time together despite busy schedules.

Hailey Somerday

Bridesmaid

I first met Hailey at the Riley Green concert at Northern Quest Casino when I unexpectedly ran into her while she was standing with my brother, who had no idea I was going to be there. It was a surprise for all of us, especially since my brother wasn’t quite prepared for her to meet any family at the time. If you haven’t already caught on, Hailey is my brother’s girlfriend—but over the years, she has become so much more than that. She’s become like an older sister to me, someone I can always count on, and one of the kindest people in my life. She also gave me my beautiful niece, which is definitely a huge bonus. I’m so grateful for the love, support, and light she brings into our family, and I couldn’t imagine it without her.
